7 days 7 veg tiffin menus for kids

Now a days in our busy schedule,we don’t even have time to think.But daily same question arises,what to give children in the lunchbox.They say,”daily we do not want same menu mummy”. Everyone likes variety,so as children and it is also good for their health to eat variety of healthy food,because every food contains different nutrition which they need for their growth.

So here I suggest you some of the recipes,which you can give your child in his/her tiffin.

1.Puri with Alu-Capsicum -Tomato subji

Recipe Alu -Capcicum-Tomato:

Servings:2 tiffins

Ingradients:Take 1 Medium size potato,1 Capsicum,2 Tomatoes

Step 1:First wash, peel and cut  the potato

Step 2: Cut the capsicum

Step 3: Grate the tomatoes.

Step 4: Take a Pan,heat 1 spoon oil,put cumin seeds, asafoetida ,turmeric powder,red chili powder add potato and mix well.Put salt to taste and let it be cook for 2-3 minutes

Step 5: Put capsicum and let them cook until the potato and capsicum becomes soft.

Step 6: At last add Tomato puree and let the vegetables cook for another 2-3 minutes

Your Subji is ready within 10 minutes.Pack in the tiffin and enjoy

2.Vegitable Pulav: Rice-Carrots,Green Peas,French beans,onions,cauliflower


Recipe Mix Veg Pulav

Ingradients: Rice 1/2 bowel,1 carrot,1 potato,1/4 bowel green peas,1 bowel water

Spices: Musturd seeds(Rai),Tez Patta(Indian Bay leaves),hing,Tumeric powder,cloves,Red chili powder,hing(asafoetida)

Step 1: Wash Rice and keep all the ingredients and spices ready

Step 2: Put 1 spoon Ghee in a Pressure cooker,heat it and put all the spices one by one.

Step 3: When the mustard seeds start crackling then add tez patta(bay leaves),cloves and hing .Roast for 2 seconds then add turmeric powder, chili powder and all the vegetables.Cook them for 2 minutes then add Rice and water(water should be double as of Rice) and close the lid of pressure cooker

Step 4: After 1st whistle low the flame and cook for 2 more minutes.

Wait the pressure release,Your Mix veg healthy Pulav is ready to pack in the tiffin within 8 minutes(5 minute preparation for veggies and spices and 3 minute cooking)

3. Paneer Stuffed Moong Rolls: Sprouted moong(Green gram) and Paneer

*Pre Preparation:Sock whole moong(green gram) for 4-5 hours
Step by step recipe  :

Step 1: Grind the socked moong and make a paste using a wet grinder or a mixure

Step 2: Add salt,red chili powder,green chili,hing(afostedie),Roasted Saunf(fennel seeds) in the moong paste or batter

Step 3: Prepare Paneer: Heat 1/2 litre full cream milk ,when starts boiling,add 1 lemon juice in it.You get paneer separated,filter it

Step 4: Take a tawa(Flat pan) and make a dosa or chila by the batter prepared in step 2
and cook both the sides.Then spred it in a flat plate and put paneer in the centre which we prepared in step 3 and make a roll

4.Masala appe: Rava,curd,beens,cauliflower,potato,carrot,ginger,garlic

Pre-Preparations: Take 1 bowel Suzi(Semolina),3/4 bowel curd(homemade sour curd),Mix them,add a little water and make smooth batter.Mix salt to taste and 1 pinch of baking soda and keep this batter aside until our masala is prepared

Step 1: Take french beans,cauliflower,carrot and potato and cut them in small pieces

Step 2: Put oil in a pan add cumin seeds,1 inch ginger(grated),garlic(2-3 cloves) and then add the vegitables taken in step1 and cook for 2-3 minutes,your masala is ready

Step 3 : Take the batter which we pre prepared and mix the masala prepared in step 3

Step 4: Apply a little ghee to the appam maker,pour the batter in the appam maker and cook them for 3-4 minutes .Your delicious appam is ready whithin 15 minutes.😜

5. Gobhi Paratha:

Ingredient: Cauliflower and wheat dough

Step by step recipe:

Step 1: Boil water,put salt and put cauliflower and boil for 1-2 minutes

Step 2: After cooling,grate the cauliflower and add spices(salt,red chilli,green chilli,garam masala)

Step 3: Take wheat flour and make dough.Take a dough ball and stuff the cauliflower masala and

make paratha and bake on tava by applying ghee on both the surface.Your soft paratha is ready whithin minutes

6. Sabudana(tapioca pearls) Vada: Sabudana and potato

Step by step recepie

Step 1:Take 1 bowel sabudana(tapioca pearls) and soak it in water for 3-4hours

Step 2:Boil 2-3 potatos,peal them and mesh them

Step 3:Mix sabudana and potatos and add rock salt,red chilli,green chilli and cumin seeds and make a dough

Step 4:Make small round balls and gently press them

Step 5:Deep fry those balls in hot oil at medium flame.Your sabudana vada is ready

7. Dry Soya Chunk Dish: Soya chunks,Onion,Garlic,Capsicum, Tomato

Prepare partion:Soak the soya chunk in the water,also add salt in the water.let it be in the salted water for atleast 1/2 an hour

Step 1: Squeez the soya chunks and drain the water completely

Step2: Cut the chunks in half and then saute then in one spoon oil

Step 3: Take onion,capsicum,Tomato and cut them in pieces

Step 4: Take 1 Spoon oil in a pan,add cumin seeds,hing,green chilli and then put onion

Step 5:Add capsicum and saute them for 2-3 minutes

Step 6: Put tomatos and cook for other 2-3 minutes

Step 7: Garnish with coriander .
